FOSC Introduction

Series of FOSC is designed for protective connection for spliced fibers in straight-through and branching applications, could be used in underground, aerial, wall-mounting, pedestal or direct buried, hand hole-mounting and duct-mounting applications. The closure is made from high strength engineering material, moulded by NC injecting machine, high aging resistance to factors such as cold, hot, oxygen, or ultraviolet radiation and is excellent in mechanical performance. The structure is reasonable, and the cable fixing device is quite flexible; excellent sealing performance, which could solve all kinds of problems which might come up during installation.
We're outstanding in following aspects and could meet the international standard:

• Environmental protective material; compliant with RoHS.
• The material for the closure is developed by famous suppliers from abroad, excellent performance and could meet all requirements in IEC1073.1 after test.
• As the material for sealing gasket and closure are unique, our closures could be used repeatedly and low consumption to environment and resource.
• The fixing device for reinforced core is of high resistant to high voltage and could stand up to 15KV.
• Non-losable bolts are used to seal the closure so that they won't fall off during field installation.
• Unique grounding device to ensure the sealing performance, and at the same time easy and convenient for installation.
• The splice holder could be used for both ribbon and single core fibers.
• The "vulcanized rubber" sealing device and sealing gasket developed for dome type of FOSC has obtained patent.

• Environmental temperature：-40℃～+55℃
• Optical performance： no obvious additional attenuation
• Temperature recycle：When the closure is pressurized to（60±5）KPa，10 times, the drop of air pressure should be less than 5 KPa，no air bubble after 15 minutes when placed under water.
• Seal performance：when the closure is pressurized up to 100KPa，no air bubble after 15 minutes under water, or no change of air meter after 24 hours.
• Re-entry performance：the sealing performance could still meet the standard after three times of re-entry.
• Insulation resistance：≥2×104MΩ.
• Voltage resistance：no arc-over or no puncture under 15KVDC/1min.

• Innovative self-developed sealing device could effectively reduce the chance that sealing performance might be affected due to human factors, and could greatly improve the credibility of sealing performance.
• The sealing device of the closure adopts self-impacted. The closure will be sealed perfectly.
• Universal: could be used for different sizes of cables; and could be used for both single core and ribbon fibers; could be used for aerial, pole-mounting, and wall mounting applications.
• Adequate space for storage of fibers; the splice trays could be used for both splice and storage of fibers; the space is enough for storage of spare fibers.
• Innovative design of cable port could meet the requirement of inlet of uncut cable.
• The fixing device is preset to fix and store? fibers at the? rear side.
• Use high grade imported material and have longer lifetime.
• PLC splitter can be installed in FTTx fiber access. The maximum splitter ratio is 2:32, and can use various of soft cables.
• Unique whole mechanical sealing very conveniently to close and open. splendid sealing performance, especially suitable for PON technique splitter usage.
• Sealed structure patent, the sealing performance is still good after repeatly? encapsulation.
• Preparation laying splitter and pigtail, only need to splice the feeder cable and branch cable. Greatly cut down outdoor application, time, improve working efficiency.
